Allen hates to admit to more than 30 years of experience in advertising and marketing. As Creative Director and Account Manager for several agencies in Boston, MA, much of his early experience was in marketing the emerging high tech leaders of the time: Lotus Software, Cullinet Software, Wang Computer, and Digital Equipment Corporation.
In the mid-80's, he moved to Louisville, KY, where he owned and operated a small agency, and assumed additional roles in management and sales, along with creative duties and account service. He has extensive and broad experience in brand development, marketing, and advertising for high tech, healthcare, hospitality, transportation, education, banking, and retail.

A graduate of Tufts University in Medford, MA, Allen's first professional job was teaching high school, and he believes it was that experience, coupled with many years of martial arts training, that best prepared him for the advertising and marketing arena.
