BEING ABLE TO SET MY OWN SECURITY MAKES ME FEEL SAFER.
With RMPro, you can control and limit access to information by group and by user…you can even specify different levels of access to various users within any group. No other retail management system offers the breadth and depth of user security provided by RMPro.
User Security provides a few common groups by default, including Administrator,
Salesperson, and Privileged User - each pre-set to recommended security practice
You have flexibility to modify these groups to suit your own needs and to create as many more new groups as you may need or want
You determine the privileges allowed for each group
You have flexibility within each group to set specific privileges for each user in that group

User Security
RMPro comes with several default groups with
established permissions. You can populate these with appropriate users and modify permissions to suit your preferences.
You can create your own customized groups then assign appropriate users to them.

You can set privileges for the group as a whole. For example, you may create an accounting group. You can give this group access to vendor purchase and customer invoice reports, but not to analytical or company growth related reports. You can create these limitations for the ‘Accountant’ security group then assign your users to that group. Whatever privileges are configured for the ‘Accountant’ group will then be automatically applied to those users.

Staying with the accounting group example, you can also then go into each of individual user’s security settings and define their privileges depending on the specific person’s tasks. One accountant may be responsible for managing sales taxes, while another one may be keeping track of vendor consignments. Whatever the case may be, RMPro provides ultimate flexibility in user security.
