Items to transfer can be entered:

■ Manually
■ Input from single input barcode scanner
■ Input from Batch barcode Scanner (data-terminal scanner)
■ Select from List of Items

Sender assigns a transfer number, and specifies quantity of items being transferred, the items, and their origin and destination. Items from Back-Order Invoices are color-coded and button “BO Invoice Info” provides item’s invoice and customer information. Notes can be added re: special handling or other.

User at Receiving Location is responsible for accuracy; examines what is supposed to be transferred - screen shows Not Received until marked otherwise by:

■ Manually checking Item
■ Single input barcode scanner
■ From Batch barcode Scanner (data-terminal scanner)

If after marking items all items shown are not received then the Transfer will be marked as “Partially Received”
The receiver can return later to the partial receiving screen and receive remaining items. The transfer list provides a numerical listing of all Finalized Transfers which are color – coded to indicate the transfer status.

■ Yellow = Not Received
■ Red = Partially Received

If the specific transfer number is not known, transfers can be found by any combination of “From Location” and “To Location” and by “Find Item”.
