RMPro!ngenuity has the unique ability to track both SKU and unique numbered identifier (UNI) for every inventory item. RMPro!ngenuity's UNI with SKU approach allows for seamless handling of multiple quantities of the same SKU by assigning a unique tracking number to each item. This is an extremely important feature which other software programs lack. This tracking takes place while never losing the link to the SKU.

The ability to uniquely track multiple quantities of SKUs provides important item history for cleaning and repair and tracking between retailers with multiple locations. Our competition lacks this important feature.

Retailers have inventory moving in and out all the time. Inventory is either purchased or consigned. Purchased inventory is paid for after delivery. Consigned inventory is not paid by the retailer until the item is actually sold to an end customer. From an accounting perspective, consigned inventory must be handled differently than purchased inventory. Other software packages deal with this type of transaction only as a purchase, which complicates the cash management in an industry with a high degree of consignment. It is essential to keep accurate records of consignment purchases as it directly impacts cash flow.

RMPro!ngenuity also keeps track of merchandise which customers choose to take home “on-approval.” These items are placed in the customer’s home for a period of days and allows the customer to see if the item will fit their needs. RmPro!ngenuity also tracks consignment sales to other retailers, separately. Other software packages treat transactions only as “Sold” or combine them. RMPro!ngenuity keeps these balances and transactions separately, giving a retailer complete control. With these differentiations, RMPro!ngenuity can tell a retailer what is an actual sale, what is a potential sale, what is a consignment sale and allows for easy tracking and measuring off items out on approval or for consignment.
